Care through the seasons

A garden should evolve, not simply be kept tidy.

A garden is never standing still. As the seasons shift, planting changes, lawns respond to the weather and the balance of the space gradually evolves.

Years spent creating gardens from the ground up have given us a natural understanding of how these different elements live together — allowing our maintenance to follow the rhythm of the garden, rather than simply keeping it tidy.

That might mean encouraging growth in one area, holding it back in another, renewing tired planting or simply knowing when to leave well alone. The result is a garden that continues to feel considered, settled and alive throughout the year.

Flexible garden care

Care that suits the garden

Whether the garden needs a fresh start, a seasonal reset or regular weekly attention, the level of care can be shaped around the space and the way you use it.

01

One-off tidy up / clearance

Ideal when a garden has become overgrown or simply needs bringing back into shape. We can tackle cutting back, pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, general clearance and green waste, leaving the space clean and manageable again.

02

Seasonal maintenance

Focused visits at key points in the year — from spring preparation to summer shaping and autumn clear-ups — helping lawns, borders, shrubs and planted areas move naturally from one season to the next.

03

Regular / weekly maintenance

Ongoing care for gardens that benefit from a consistent hand. Visits can include lawn mowing and edging, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, border care, sweeping and general tidying, tailored to what the garden needs each week.

Specialist care

More than routine maintenance

Some parts of a garden need a more focused kind of attention. Open any service below to see how we approach it.

Tree surgery+

From careful pruning and crown management to the removal of unsafe or unsuitable trees, tree work is considered in relation to the wider garden. Where specialist climbing or larger-scale work is required, it is carried out with the right expertise and attention to safety, access and the surrounding planting.

Decking & timber care+

Timber changes naturally with exposure to sun, rain and shade. Cleaning, treatment, re-oiling, minor repairs and seasonal care can help decking, screens and other timber features age more evenly while retaining the character of the material. We can also look after garden buildings and sheds, with practical maintenance and repairs that help timber structures remain sound, weather-resistant and well cared for through the seasons.

Paving care+

Paving often needs more than a quick wash. Depending on the material and condition, care can include gentle cleaning, joint maintenance, weed and algae control, stain treatment and suitable sealing — all with the aim of protecting the surface rather than over-cleaning it.

Lawn care+

A good lawn is shaped by what happens below the surface as much as what is visible above it. Mowing, edging, feeding, scarifying, aeration, overseeding and seasonal repair can be combined as needed to build a denser, healthier lawn over time.

FAQ

Common questions

How is garden maintenance priced?+

For regular garden maintenance, we can prepare a yearly schedule with the work planned around the seasons and the cost spread into equal monthly payments. One-off tidy-ups and seasonal care can be priced either at an hourly rate per gardener, with green-waste disposal charged separately, or as a fixed price with everything included. The best approach depends on the individual garden and the work required.

How often should my garden be maintained?+

There is no single schedule that suits every garden. The right frequency depends on the planting, lawn, size of the space and how you want it to look throughout the year. Some gardens benefit from weekly visits during the growing season, while others need less frequent but more focused seasonal attention.

What happens to garden waste?+

We can remove green waste produced during the work, or where appropriate leave suitable material for your own composting or disposal. For hourly work, waste removal is quoted separately; where we agree a fixed-price job, the agreed waste removal is included in that price.

Can the maintenance plan change as the garden develops?+

Yes. Gardens are constantly changing, so a maintenance plan should be able to change with them. As planting matures, seasons shift or the way you use the garden changes, we can adjust the priorities and timing rather than keeping you tied to an unnecessary routine.

Does your garden need some attention?

Keep the garden looking like itself — only better.

Send us a few photos, your postcode and an idea of what needs attention. That is enough to start planning the right level of care.
